About Us

Torah Family is based on the following truths:

1. There is one God who is above all things and in absolute control of His creation.

2. God created the universe in six literal days. Man was created as a unique being in the image of God.

3. Yeshua HaMashiach is the expression of the invisible God, fully God yet fully man. He came to earth, born of a virgin, suffered and died as the perfect sacrifice to redeem His people from sin, rose bodily from the dead three days later, and ascended into heaven. He came in the first century of the Common Era as Mashiach ben Yosef (the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53) and He will return to the earth as Mashiach ben David (the reigning King of Ps. 2).

4. Jews and non-Jews are both redeemed from sin in the same way: by the grace of God, through faith in the Jewish Messiah.

5. All people will be resurrected from the dead in the Last Day—the righteous to everlasting life in the World to Come and the wicked to everlasting death in the lake of fire.

6. The Scripture, which includes both the Hebrew Tanach and the Apostolic writings, is without error in its original manuscripts, and is the ultimate authority in all matters of life and faith.

7. The written Torah, specifically the five books of Moses, is relevant for both Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Messiah Yeshua.

8. The Jewish rabbinic tradition has value, and its application should be subject to both scriptural truth and individual choice.

9. The Torah lifestyle should be a blessing to all members of a family, and the application of Torah principles should include and instruct the children.

10. God’s holy Name is to be used in a way that brings Him honor. Jewish traditions that sanctify the Name, while not authoritative, are a good way to remember the awesome holiness of the Name and to avoid using it in a casual or flippant manner.
